From “web3 LinkedIn” to “web3 Youtube”, it seems like everyone is trying to put everything on the blockchain nowadays. But are these products useful? While I could fill a laundry list of protocols that don’t have reasons to exist, there’s quite a few protocols out there shipping in a “product- driven” way. Are “product-driven” protocols an early identifier of useful products?
First, what is a “product-driven” protocol? A simple definition is a protocol that’s built in the same way products get built. A protocol that solves X while delivering shippable intermediaries.
